Team In Training: Marathon + Half
$1.3 billion dollars and more than 600,000 participants, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training (TNT) has become the most influential endurance sports training program for charity in the world.
Money raised by TNT has funded therapies like chemotherapy, bone marrow transplants and drugs like Gleevec® that manage certain blood cancers with a daily pill. From targeted therapies, repurposing of old drugs and accelerating new ones to market, TNT continues to power LLS in its funding of over 300 projects that show promise in finding cures.
Thanks to those whose dedication continues today, a new TNT generation has evolved to become an LLS cornerstone in the quest to find cures for blood cancers; and continues to fund new therapies that save lives every single day. Become part of the new TNT generation and bring us closer to cures, today.

The Torch Run
The mission of the Law Enforcement Torch Run® (LETR) for Special Olympics is to increase awareness and raise funds for the Special Olympics movement. As the largest grass-roots fundraiser and public awareness vehicle for Special Olympics, the LETR raised over $46 million in 2013. Since its inception in 1981, it has grown extensively worldwide with over 97,000 volunteers, spanning 46 countries, and raising more than $461 million for the Special Olympics movement. Fundraising is only part of what the officers involved with the initiative give to the movement. Our athletes say law enforcement officers are truly supportive of the cause – extending to them friendship, acceptance and encouragement. Special Olympics thanks these officers for their untiring support and salutes them for protecting the world and its citizens.
