Half Marathon Sells Out, Marathon Close to Selling Out

The San Luis Obispo Marathon + Half is close to completely selling out. The Half Marathon is sold out, capping at 2000 athletes for the Inaugural running. The Marathon has 24 spots remaining, capping at 800 athletes. Because each race has reached capacity, transfers down from the Marathon to the Half Marathon is now closed. Should there be a cancellation, those on the Marathon priority list who want to transfer down will be served first. Should spots in either race become available, the Marathon Staff will contact those that have emailed to request a registration, with priority given to date and time the email was received.The Marathon Staff will post here when registration for both races is closed. There are no registration refunds, transfers, rollovers or rain checks for the marathon, half marathon and 5K. No exceptions.

The 5K race on Saturday, April 21 benefiting Special Olympics is open for registration.That race will cap at 800 participants. There is late registration on Friday, April 20 and Saturday, April 21 at the SLO Life Expo for the 5K race only. Only cash or check will be taken for late registration. Late registrants are not guaranteed a tech shirt.
