Race Rules

ENTRY RULES

The San Luis Obispo Full and Half Marathon have a maximum capacity for 2014. Maximum capacity for the full and half marathon will be determined and announced in January, 2014. Maximum capacity for the 5K is 1200. When your registration is submitted, NO REFUNDS or ROLLOVERS will be given if you cannot participate, illness, injury and family emergencies are not exceptions. Transfers to another race category or to another participant deadline is April 11, 2014 (unless the race sells out). Event changes will automatically stop once the race reaches its capacity.. To change your race registration or transfer your registration to another person, please CLICK HERE. In an effort to make our race "Green," we offer online registration only. Online Registration for all races closes April 11, 2014. 5K and Children's Fun Run late registration takes place at The SLO Life Expo on Friday, April 25 noon to 5 p.m. and Saturday morning, April 26 from 6-8 a.m.. Late registration for the Marathon and Half Marathon will be determined closer to the race date. The race(s) take place rain or shine.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We adhere to the standard running industry policy. All registration fees are non-refundable. This is noted on our registration application and, when you register for any of our events, you must agree to this policy. You may not give or sell your number to another individual unless you transfer your registration to that person online – if you do not go through the proper channels, this could result in your disqualification as well as the runner who uses your race number. The entry fee for this year’s event will NOT transfer to next year’s event, no exceptions. This policy stays in effect whether you are injured, have unexpected business or family emergency, pregnancy, etc. There are NO exceptions. Any inquiry regarding this policy will be directed back to this page.

CHANGE REQUEST

Runners may request an event change based on event availability. Should one of the races sell out, there will be no more change requests accepted. You may change your race or transfer your registration to another person by clicking HERE.

TRAINING PROGRAM FEES

Training program(s) for 2014 will be determined shortly.
