The Race SLO Festival is an incredible two-day event open to the public celebrating the best of Endurance Town USA!
After your race is over, when you have completed your journey, it’s time to sit back, relax and enjoy SLO Town. It's relaxed here on the Central Coast and there's no need to rush. You've earned the right. Enjoy a massage, cold Lagunitas brew, delicious BBQ from RibLine, music and more.
Massage at our recovery tent is $1 per minute. Three of our masseuses are Richard Leversee, Alison Bode and Courtney Crow. Richard has 26 years of experience, much of it working on professional athletes and you can learn more about him at www.DeepWellBeing.com. Alison combines Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Lomi Lomi, Orthopedic and Myofascial Release Techniques to create an individualized therapeutic experience that can help heal chronic or acute pain and create an overall sense of ease. You can learn more about her practice in San Luis Obispo at www.InnerHorizonWellness.com. Courtney has a strong, and in-depth understanding of the body and the external physical and emotional stressors that lead to imbalances in the body; she specializes in Myofascial Release techniques. Head on over the recovery tent after your race and treat yourself. You deserve it!
You often get overlooked at events, but you've supported your loved ones unconditionally for the last couple months and years helping them get to the finish line. New for 2017, the first 1,000 will receive special fan BIBS because you're a part of this journey too. Over the two day festival we also have yoga powered by lululemon, Ninja Warrior Legacy courses and all the benefits runner's get - music, brews, food and more!
We've got great live music on both days of the Race SLO Festival! We'll have B and The Hive (Formerly Boys & Girls Band) on Saturday (8-10am, 12-2pm) and Box the Oxford on Sunday (8:30am-10:45, 12:-3pm)!
